Ordered this because of great reviews . Not disappointed excellent when splitting logs and very comfortable to use.

I'm new to splitting logs, so bought this axe based on web reviews. i am not disappointed. Ok, i've never tried any other axe or splitter, but for what i want, it's great. Not too heavy, and with a good swing, will split most seasoned logs first time. stays sharp, and no adverse shocks through the handle. i would recommend this axe.

Wow. For years i have been splitting logs with a maul, and it is hard work. A friend bought one of these splitting axes and sang its praises, so thought i would give it a go. Half the weight of the maul, and splits logs much more easily. Had been worried that it would stick in logs (a problem common to normal axes) but it really does not. Excellent tool. Really cannot recommend enough.

As most arborists will tell you, this is probably the best splitting axe at any price. The anti-stick blade really works and is much more easily removed when wedged in a log than a maul's. The lightweight construction means more accuracy and speed (and less strain on you). Having previously used heavy mauls i'm now converted. A pleasure to use. But mind your toes - it's very sharp!

Well i have found this to be a great axe. Ok it's light and wasnt sure how strong it would be but i really cant find fault at this stage. i've chopped about 4 cube of logs so far and its still super sharp. great product and seems to put up well with heavy use.
