Huge design improvement on my previous (broken!) trimmer. Easy to use - I've tried both the normal and heavy duty spools. It cut a large area of rough grass/weeds on a steep banking in a relatively short time. Price for a heavy duty trimmer was excellent.

Although described as heavy duty this trimmer is very well balanced and therefore compares favorably with less powerful and lighter models for ease of use. I have marked down the features a little. I am of modest height and would have liked the telescopic arm extension to be a little longer. The wheel for edging is a great idea and would be perfection if a guide were added to keep the wheel at a set distance from the border edge. The single line works extremely well and keeps to correct length automatically. It conveniently avoids the problems associated with trimmers using the two line system. The unspooled heavy duty accessory for dealing with tough vegetation seems stronger than line alternatives used on a previous petrol trimmer. Superb value for a quality built machine.

This strimmer is probably the best I have owned, and far better than some famous brands. Easy to assemble, easy to use, and easy to change spool heads - which was a nightmare with previous makes. Other reviews detail specific merits of the strimmer, and I agree with them all.

I have found that the grass strimmer is all that it says it is, reliable, robust and workmanlike.
