Our old 'Gardena' lawn rake was worn out. It's so easy to simply re-attach a new one to its dedicated wooden handle (in seconds), and then carry on sweeping up the leaves. At this task, it's really effective and unlike a metal rake, is noise free. (Over time, the 2 outermost rake prods will wear away - esp. on concrete, so just cut them away and continue. A new rake head should last you over several Autumns' use.)
