This is truly splendid tool for the diy user. Extremely smooth and quiet in use is similar at slow speeds to a sewing machine. Very accurate cut with central pointer to follow the pencil line in addition it has the option of air blast to keep dust away fron the cutting mark.The 500w motor will be adequate most diy tasks but maybe not for some pros it looks so good in construction i dont expect any problems but only time wiil tell

This is a first class jig saw very smooth and vibration free quiet and for size of motor quite pleasing to use .It is of course a diy tool and will have its limits but for the price im very satisfied.Only one small problem arose when removing blade which is tool less i found the blade stuck and hard to eject however agood blast of air which is a useful feature and a small spot of oil seems to have solved the only snag i could find thank you
