Like all the Bosch range I have, this is a handy and agile jigsaw. Having several batteries for different tools this, like them can be used in isolated areas without the need for a power supply. The ease of use with the responsive trigger can be utilised for the most delicate or robust assignments. I would most definitely recommend you add it to your collection.

Straight out of box and ripped a pallet to bits so plenty powerful enough, the variable speed is built in to the trigger so it needs a squeeze action rather than a sudden pull. The various guides and guards make sighting the blade difficult even with the inbuilt light so your markings need a high level of contrast to the material being cut. Really nice to be free from the extension lead, so liberating.

As I already have 18v battery powered Bosch tools, it made sense to stick with the brand. I was not disappointed. Having struggled with a cheap jigsaw, the Bosch jigsaw was a revalation. It is quiet, smooth in operation and the blade follows the precise line you wish to follow, whether a curve or a straight line. My first task was to cut square holes in 18mm ply lining in a narrowboat. This it completed with ease. Similarly, it produced excellent results cutting thin ply for decorative shelving. My only criticism was that there was no option to purchase a carrying case, but as I have an old one I was able to adapt, this was not an issue for me.

Handles nicely; safety latch takes a bit of getting used to; blade change is easy; very useful pointer as part of base plate makes following a line so much easier; useful blade storage in base plate; 4 position pendulum action switch; haven't used it enough to comment on battery life.

Already have a Bosch Drill using the same batteries and needed to replace my Jig-Saw. Saw this excellent offer from Tooled-Up and was not disappointed. Used a lot already, easy to handle, lasts well and has a nice balance. Using it for coping some skirting at the moment with the small blades and it works great. Always use Bosch tools and having the drill with charger and two batteries in the case made this an easy choice. Try one, you will not find better for the price and convenience.

Great quality power tool from Bosch and tooled up were good at posting it quickly and well packaged. There was a slight issue with payment on their site but upon forwarding paypal order confirmation, they sorted it out immediately. Would recommend Tooled-up and this Bosch cordless Jig Saw. Will buy from Tooled up again in the future.

Handy tool. Easy change of blades - good safety features (chip guards). Useful blade store on baseplate and can fit (separate purchase) parallel guide easily. Standard guide (on plate and additional clip on) and light also useful. Handles wood and MDF well plus metal (screws, nails and thin thickness sheets). Provided that you have a charged up battery, can't go wrong.

Works well, accurate cut with no twisting. Not run the battery down yet so can't comment on how long it lasts.

Excellent next day service with competitive price. The Bosch jigsaw is very impressive. Used it to cut MDF and other wood to make a wardrobe. Would probably need to buy additional blades for more challenging materials. Already had the Bosch drill with two batteries so was happy to buy the jigsaw without a battery. Surprised at how powerful it is as a cordless and with good running time. Makes it so much more flexible without cord. Highly recommended.

Don't know how i managed before without it. More than enough power and good battery life. Do agree with neil larner though about the baseplate 'drifting from square'.

Fantastic unit, i used this for laying out the boards in the loft and cutting out all the notches etc, it performed very well. Cutting is so much easier now.
