Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

We got this mainly due to the cordless feature, so far the battery has lasted longer than expected having read previous reviews. I’m not a serious gardener and so it works great for what I need but I suspect you’d need something more robust (petrol powered) if the terrain was more challenging. Overall, more than happy with it.

This is a good strimmer which works well. It is a little bit heavy. The battery lasts a reasonable time when fully charged.

Only used it a couple of times and results have been very good. Sometimes have to encourage cable to feed. Don’t know how long battery lasts because has still been going strong when finishing job in excess of 30 minutes at low power.

Very light & easy to work with. Copes well with short, fine grass but anything thicker is more of a challenge. Has 2 speeds, Normal & Turbo. Turbo works better for longer grass & is faster. The auto feed for the line works very well although I have no idea how long the line will last. Battery on Turbo lasts 15 minutes. It takes 4 hours to charge from flat. Have not tried the edging wheel. I find I have the machine fully extended to be a comfortable length to work with so very tall people may find it a bit short. A good strimmer on the whole for lawns or short grass.

I can only pass on what I have been told. I bought this as a birthday gift for my son, he has used it several times and says he is very happy with it, easy to use , the only problem is the length of time to charge the battery.

Order received very promptly from Tooled-Up. Strimmer was easy to set up, is well balanced and easy to handle. The guard piece seems a bit flimsy but otherwise it looks pretty robust. I'm impressed with performance and battery life so far, gave it what seemed to me quite heavy work for a lightweight strimmer (very overgrown long grasss and weeds) and by cutting a layer at a time it had no problems, finished the job with no loss of battery power. I'm very happy, for its price I think it is a very good piece of kit and is ideal to meet my needs (occasional use on ordinary garden scale)
