Excellent pruners; quite expensive but worth it. The black tie keeping them closed wears out in time. I have bought several pairs over the years, but they are still functional without it.

This review is based on the fact that I have had the same product myself for about 8 years and the pruners are still as sharp and effective as the day I was given them. So brilliant are they for cutting flowers, harvesting veg, trimming climbers, and 101 other things that I bought a pair for my daughter for her birthday last week. The red handles mean they show up well when they’ve been put down. The simple closure loop works a treat, left or right handed. These are my go to ‘snips’ for all but the toughest of jobs where you have to use heavy secateurs.
