I have bought this pruning saw as a present for my daughter. I bought one for myself earlier this year and my daughter used it to remove ivy from a tree in my garden when she visited me . She was very impressed and asked for one for herself for a christmas present,- so I have bought a second one

I’ve used these saws for years, they are fantastic. The perfect saw for pruning branches of shrubs and trees which are too big for a pair of loppers but which don’t require a large saw. The cut is incredibly clean, as mentioned in one of the previous reviews. Make sure you close the blade when not using it, as the teeth are incredibly sharp. Not a good idea to use it to for cutting roots, as stones/grit quickly blunt the points of the teeth. I know because I’ve done it. Service from Tooled-Up excellent. I ordered it yesterday, standard delivery, and it arrived this morning.

Purchased this for my mum to use for little tasks around the garden. She says it is easy to use, with a nice locking mechanism, it seems well made and she is very happy with this little saw.

Replacements for an ARS saw that I had bought years ago. They are still the best saw on the market and the price is so reasonable. The blades cut on the push and pull but you have to be careful that you wear leather gloves to protect your hands and eye protection if you are cutting above you line of vision.
