Festool Edge Routing Support Rest for OF 900, 1000, 1010 and 1010 R
The Festool Edge Routing Support Rest is a router accessory designed to provide stable support when routing in the edge area with the OF 900, OF 1000, OF 1010, and OF 1010 R routers.
When routing along the edge of a workpiece, the router base sits only half on the material, which can compromise stability and accuracy. This support rest attaches to the router to extend the contact surface, keeping the tool balanced and secure throughout the cut.
The extra-wide contact surface is the key feature here, giving the router a firm footing even when a significant portion of the base overhangs the workpiece edge. This helps maintain consistent routing depth and reduces the risk of the router tipping during use.
