Festool AS-KS 120-R/L Multi-function Mitre Saw Stop
The Festool AS-KS 120-R/L Multi-function Mitre Saw Stop is a purpose-built workpiece control accessory designed for use with the Festool KAPEX KS 120 mitre saw, enabling safer, more accurate, and more repeatable cuts on site or in the workshop.
The integrated clamping function secures workpieces firmly in position without the need for separate clamps, reducing the risk of material kickback and allowing for precise, consistent sawing. Movable splinter guard rails operate on a zero-clearance principle, supporting the material close to the blade for clean, tear-free cuts — even on the smallest sections. The splinter guard strip and contact plate can both be fitted and repositioned without tools, keeping setup time to a minimum.
The height-adjustable aluminium profile makes this stop particularly well-suited to tradespeople working with cornice, crown moulding, and stucco profiles, allowing accurate wall-position cuts quickly and without complex jigs. The profile also functions as a sliding length stop for repeat cuts, and is reversible to reliably secure narrow strips. For taller workpieces, a dedicated trimming position can be achieved by removing the splinter guard and contact plate. The clamp itself can be mounted in two positions on the stop body for improved workpiece stability across a range of cut types.
