Very happy with the pump - used it to pump out a medium size pond before we relined it with clay. It coped with very muddy, dirty water and pumped even when the water level was low. Very pleased with the pump and a good price.
Bought to replace a failed Clarke pump that is used in a sump pit. Quality seems fine at first glance. My only issue is the clip that holds the float cable to adjust the height is not very tight on the cable so I used a tie wrap as well to ensure the cable did not jump out.
My first impressions when opening the box were that the pump is bigger and heavier than expected. It's a mystery how such a solid and well made pump can be sold for such a small price, but it could be that they make thousands of them. I bought it as back-up for a much more expensive pump; and while it doesn't have the flow rate of the more expensive, it is reassuring good.
Good pump. Easy to order and arrived swiftly by pleasant courier.
