DeWalt DCS350 18v XR Cordless Threaded Rod Cutter
The DeWalt DCS350 is a cordless threaded rod cutter designed for cutting M6 to M12 threaded rod on site without the need for power cables. This dedicated XR tool delivers clean, burr-free cuts using a shearing action rather than abrasive cutting, eliminating the chips and sparks typically associated with traditional cutting methods.
The shearing mechanism produces cuts that require no clean-up, allowing fasteners to be threaded on immediately without deburring. This saves time on installation work and ensures consistent thread quality across multiple cuts. An integrated LED work light illuminates the cutting area for improved accuracy in poorly lit environments or enclosed spaces.
Ideal for electrical contractors and M&E installers working with suspended systems, cable management installations, and structural fixings, the DCS350 provides a portable solution for cutting threaded rod at height or in awkward positions. The forward/reverse/lock-off switch offers control and safety, whilst the integrated hang hook allows secure storage between cuts. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
