Latching system is prone to slipping if the the latches are not robustly locked in place. The problem appears to have resolved itself following repeated use.

Got this for my husband for christmas. seems a very sturdy item and he has already found it useful.

The bosch portable work bench appears to be a fantastic replacement for my old, tired and frankly sub-standard b&d workmate. It is too early to make an informative review of this product, but every indication is that it 'will do what it says on the tin' and will survive the rigors of a long and hard diy life.

I was looking to get a workmate, and was about to buy one, when i read the review he said it was good but not as good the bosch pwb600, so i looked into them and although they are more expensive, i liked the look of it so i went for it and i'm dead pleased i did. Folds away nice and flat, has a much bigger surface area than other work benches, and i love the little tray under the top to keep your pencil and square on.

Good points: easy to stow, transport and takes up little space well made and well thought out more solid action to clamping table than competitors such as black and decker good size on board stowage for bench dogs tool tray looks flash on site bad points: it's light but that means it not stable unless on a dead flat surface and there's no leveling adjustment. top slides over tool tray so when open you can't get at whatever you've put there. expensive conclusions if you need something mobile or you've limited storage this is a good choice. if you're only using at home and you've got the space you'll find using two of the small cheap folding benches way more flexible and cost-effective
