Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

This is an excellent product. We had previously used a corded hedge trimmer that involved running out 2 extension leads in order to reach the extremes of our hedge, which is over 100 feet in length. And despite taking extreme care, we managed to accidentally cut the cable on more than one occasion. This trimmer is better in all respects. The battery can be left on charge indefinitely without being damaged, so the trimmer is always ready to use. In terms of power, the battery is deceptive - it cuts the entire hedge with plenty of power to spare. There is a hand shield in front of the forward handle to prevent you from putting your hand near the cutting blades, and the handle itself has a switch mechanism. This means that you have to gently grip the handle with one hand, and squeeze the main power trigger with the other. If you take either hand off the machine it will stop - instantly. The trimmer itself is beautifully made, but does not feel heavy. This is partly because it is superbly well balanced - it is a joy to use.
More powerful than I expected. Battery takes little long to charge but lasts fine
Wasn’t sure at first about power when been battery operated and if the weight would increase. Now used the weight is slightly heavy but the power and flexibility without watching the cable is excellent for anyone with hedges to keep trim
I am very pleased with this product. It is well made and easily deals with the type of hedge and shrub trimming I require to complete. A pity about the blade cover, it could be more substantial
