Sadly we struggled to assemble this product (had to get our savvy neighbour to help after 45 minutes of trying) and when it was assembled the on switch didn't work at all. On calling Tooled-up I was told it was a teething problem and he could explain how to fix it. By this point we had lost the will to re-assemble it and try again. It cost me £16 to return it as they wouldn't accept it was faulty. I suggest the company informs customers in advance of the product's potential to have teething problems. I will never buy a big electric product online ever again!

Black&Decker needs a industrial designer! You need a screw driver to unplug the vacuum bag or the hose...B&D provides a sttel rod for that...but there is nowhere to fix the rod to the tool when not in use!!! So you lose it / never have it with you when you need it. Seriously idiotic designers. They should find another job. Otherwise the vacuum is powerful, bag on backpack is super practical. You’ll just swear when you need to remove a hose

Absolute rubbish - clogs up at the merest hint of seeing a leaf, a total pain to take apart with the daft locking mechanism that needs a spurious metal rod to take apart and a safety kicking mechanism that gets blocked by leaves. The one seeming redeeming feature of the product, being the backpack bag, is a failure as well as the hose comes off too easily, it's elevated from the fan and therefore exacerbates the aforementioned clogging up and only really gets 1/3rd full before it stops working (but that's ok as the whole thing needs disassembling way before then to remove the leaves stuck around the plastic fan). Don't waste your money like me - get something else.

The best of its kind on sale today. Build quality leaves a bit to be desired but good value for money. Powerful blower. Leaf collection great as long as they are dry and no twigs present. Overall I can recommend this item. It performs well, compared to similar electric blower / vacs of equal value
