Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

For the first two days of using it I was really happy with it, I had a few batteries from other B&D products and accessories. I thought it was a great small saw. On day 3 it did not want to start. After a few attempts it started, but was hardly turning the blade round at a very small speed. I have returned it. Having been desperate to finish the job I started, I purchased the same saw from a different retailer as Tooled-up did not have it in stock, thinking I must have been unlucky. Needless to say the replacement also broke after a few days. It was cutting fine at one point and did not start a moment later. My guess is the motor is not strong enough and gives up quickly. At the time of purchase the saw seemed to be cheap in comparison to its competitors which I thought was great but then probably the price reflects its quality, so all in all I am giving it one point for value for money. It is a great pity, I value my other Black and Decker products. I also ended up with a rip fence and a spare blade for wood cutting . BTW , 5 stars to Tooled-up for customer support, they were brilliant.
