Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

The strimmer works well. I found older models didn't last very long. I'm hopeful this one will last longer as it is effective at low speed. Certainly seems well built. I might have missed an adjuster, but it seems a bit short. Fine for me at 5'6".

I bought this strimmer to replace the old model I had, because the battery had failed. It was more cost effective to buy a new strimmer than buy a new battery ! Unfortunately, while it is a good machine at the price, I find it can be uncomfortable to use for longer periods, due to the new handle design, which rubs your upper arm when taking on longer grass. It is however more powerful than the previous model, getting through dense grass easily. Overall, a good product at this price point.
Best ever strimmer, I had my last black and decker stolen. Looked to buy a cheaper one but having looked at nearly every model I decided to pay the extra cash for this 36 volt model. It is pricey but I feel sometimes you have to pay for quality
Trimmer is easy to use and adjust to my height. It works well on lawn edges and more challenging grasses. The 36v battery is powerful and long lasting. Recharges in about an hour. We use it with another Black and Decker product so is good value. Product is well made and we are very pleased with it.
I hesitated to buy because of the price but glad I did. Great cordless strimmer, sturdy yet easy to handle. Managed to strim round the borders of allotment quickly and efficiently, despite quite tall grass. Would have liked the battery to have lasted a little longer, might need to buy a spare. Only used it once but overall it’s a great product, hope it will be in service for a long time.
