I’ve just started cutting a very long beech hedge with these new shears and they are superb. I’m 5’ 1, female, over 60 and was a little apprehensive about the length of them as much longer than my previous pair. They are so lightweight, razor sharp & perfectly balanced. Effortless to use and I can reach to the top of 6’6” hedge without using stepladder! So far I’m delighted and hope they match their secateurs, which are really old, with heavy use and sharp as new.

These Shears are a revelation after purchasing a numbers of £30 pairs. I did my research first this time. They are a precision product you get what you pay for. Tooled up's price was the most competitive I could find when I ordered.

So far so good! Only received these few days ago. Very sharp, long reach and easy to use. I'm female and can see these saving a lot of time. No messing about with petrol or unwieldy wires. I have Japanese secateurs also which make gardening a pleasure. Good delivery and overall experience.

These are a great investment, they are so light and very sharp. They make trimming hedges and shrubs enjoyable, delivering great results.

The best you can buy. Great value. Easy to use and being lightweight, no problem in using for long periods. Razor sharp so keep your hands away from the blades

Very light and very sharp - they made very short work of cutting a large beech hedge. Apart from the extremely easy, precise cutting, the longish handles help greatly with reach.
