ARS K-800 Hedge Shears

I've had a pair of the larger Ars KR1000 shears for a few years, the best shears I have ever used, way superior to anything you can buy from your local garden centre or DIY store, and up to the job of slicing through blackthorn or hawthorn with ease. The K-800 shears are the baby brother to the KR1000, small enough to pop into a bucket or bag with secateurs, trowel etc for general garden use. I was curious whether the K-800 would have the same build quality and blade steel, and am very pleased to say that they do, slicing through elm and hazel suckers like a hot knife through butter. The choice between the KR1000 and K-800 really only depends on whether compactness is more important than reach and leverage. Both are truly excellent, and will make you wonder why you suffered your current shears for so long.

These shears are very sharp and precisely ground, giving a good cut. They are also lightweight, making manual hedgecutting as easy as it can be.

I needed a top quality lightweight pair of shears. They are a pleasure to use and make routine jobs so much easier.
