Wera Rapidaptor BiTorsion Quick Release Bit Holder

The Wera Rapidaptor BiTorsion Quick Release Bit Holder is a universal screwdriver bit holder designed for rapid, one-handed bit changes during power screwdriving applications. Compatible with all standard ¼" hexagon drive bits to DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 and E 6.3, it fits power screwdrivers with a ¼" hexagonal take-up to DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3.

The Rapidaptor quick-release mechanism allows bits to be inserted without actuating the sleeve — simply push forward on the sleeve to release. This makes bit swapping fast and efficient, even when working with one hand, reducing downtime on site.

At the core of the holder is Wera's BiTorsion technology, which uses an internal torsion spring to absorb low peak loads generated during screwdriving. This significantly reduces stress on the bit, lowering the risk of breakage and extending tool life. When paired with compatible Wera BiTorsion bits and their dedicated torsion zones, the system offers even greater durability — though the holder remains fully compatible with conventional bits as well.
