The Stanley FatMax V20 cordless system is based around the V20 18v lithium ion battery pack. These batteries are fully compatible with all power tools and outdoor products in the V20 range, meaning that a single battery and charger can be used for a multitiude of different tasks. The FatMax V20 cordless drywall cutout tool is intended for making cutouts in drywall to allow for inserts like sockets and switches. It has a collet for securely mounting appropriate cutters and allows the required shape to be cut out with speed and accuracy.

To help achieve a consistent finish without hitting other materials buried behind the drywall, the tool comes with an adjustable depth stop which can be removed if preferred. An integrated LED worklight illuminates the work area while the tool is in operation, and the slim housing enables the cutter to be guided comfortably.
