The Stabila 81S REM Torpedo Level is a compact magnetic spirit level designed for precision work in confined spaces and overhead applications. Built with a robust die-cast aluminium T-profile construction, this professional-grade tool features a particularly slender trapezoidal bevelled shape that makes it ideal for working in cramped areas where standard levels cannot fit.

The level incorporates rare earth magnets mounted in the milled measuring surface, delivering magnetic holding power five times stronger than standard magnetic levels. This exceptional magnetic grip ensures the level stays securely attached to steel scaffolding, beams, and metalwork, freeing both hands for marking and measuring tasks. The milled measuring face is protected by integral noses that prevent damage during site work.

Equipped with two vials – one for horizontal and one for plumb measurements – this torpedo level delivers accuracy of 0.029° (0.5mm/m) in normal position and 0.043° (0.75mm/m) when working overhead.
