This is a cheap digital caliper and as such you get what you pay for. The construction is plastic which is good for being lightweight, but will no doubt damage in time. There is a 1 decimal place display which is ok - most others have 2dp. Big issue with this is that it auto turns on when the slide is moved which is activated really easily. I can guarantee that the battery will not last because of this. The off button works but just putting it on a table is enough to reactivate it.
Gauge was not within specified accuracy level. Always read + .6 mil over. Was returned, the supplied replacement did not work at all ! This was also returned for refund.
