The Sealey TA050 Digital Tachometer is a professional laser instrument designed for fast and accurate measurement of rotational speed in workshop and diagnostic applications. This versatile diagnostic tool offers both contact and non-contact measurement capabilities, making it suitable for a wide range of automotive, industrial and machinery maintenance tasks.

The tachometer features 10 selectable data set memories, each storing maximum, minimum and average readings as appropriate. Beyond standard RPM measurement, the unit can also measure total revolutions, frequency, surface speed and distance across multiple units including metric and imperial measurements. The high-precision sensor delivers accuracy of ± (0.05% + 1 digit), ensuring reliable results for critical diagnostic work.

Supplied complete with reflective tape for non-contact laser measurement and three interchangeable heads for contact measurement, the TA050 provides flexibility for different applications. The unit measures rotation speeds from 2-20,000rpm in contact mode and an impressive 2-99,999rpm when used with the non-contact laser method. Power is provided by a 9V PP3 battery (supplied) with the option to connect a 6V DC auxiliary transformer for extended use.
