The Sealey SM1304 is a professional 245mm bandsaw designed for cutting multiple materials in workshop environments. Built around a robust steel chassis with locking blade wheel covers, this two-speed bandsaw delivers versatile performance for tradespeople requiring precision cuts across different applications.
The bearing-mounted blade wheels and belt drive induction motor ensure smooth, consistent operation, whilst the 370W motor provides adequate power for demanding workshop tasks. The two-speed configuration allows operators to switch between 400m/min and 730m/min cutting speeds, making the bandsaw suitable for both wood and non-ferrous materials.
Safety features include micro switches that prevent operation when blade wheel covers are open, and no-volt release switches that prevent uncontrolled blade restart following power interruption. The tilting table adjusts from 0 to 45 degrees for cutting compound mitres, supported by fully adjustable blade tracking and tensioning mechanisms for precise cutting action.
The bandsaw comes complete with a quick-adjusting rip fence, mitre gauge, and push sticks for safe material handling. A dust extraction port with 60mm diameter outlet connects to workshop extraction systems, whilst integrated blade wheel brushes prevent dust accumulation during use. The unit is supplied ready for installation on its metal stand.
