I bought the roughneck demolition and lifting bar to help in taking down some lath and plaster ceilings. I've yet to start on the work but having taken lath and plaster ceilings down in the past using a crowbar i can see big advantages in the design of the roughneck. The main advantage will be the ability to lever the laths down with minimal damage to the joists above as it has a wide rounded section to pivot around thereby spreading the load across the width of the joist. With a crowbar i found it damaged the joist as the pivot point was concentrated. Later in my project i need to lift floorboards that are hidden nailed. This will put a lot of strain on the roughneck and give it a real test of its reliability. It looks to be well made so fingers crossed!
Purchased to re-lay some slabs but have not had an opportunity yet to use. Looks very robust and i'm sure will make job much easier.
Being used to dismantle pallets.Very good it has paid for its self.

Excellent product and well made for the heavy jobs. Found it great for getting my floor boards up.
Bought as a present, recipient is very happy with this for ripping pallets apart.
