Portwest Ascending and Descending Fall Arrest Kit

The Portwest Ascending and Descending Fall Arrest Kit is a complete height safety system designed for working at height on vertical rope access applications. It provides tradespeople and contractors with everything needed to ascend and descend safely on a static rope line.

The kit centres around a 2-point safety harness paired with a 12mm detachable rope grab and a 15-metre kernmantle static rope — a high-quality, durable rope construction well suited to fall arrest use. A carabiner is included to connect the system components, and a nylon drawstring bag makes the kit straightforward to carry, store, and transport between sites.

Suitable for construction, roofing, maintenance, and industrial access work, this kit is ideal for any contractor who requires a reliable, ready-to-use fall arrest solution. With a maximum rated load of 100kg and a 10-year shelf life from the manufacturing date, it offers both practical performance and long-term value.

Both CE certified and UKCA marked, this kit meets the safety requirements expected for professional use in the UK, giving site managers and operatives confidence in its compliance.
