Worked great about 3 months then stopped working, motor runs but no blade movement. i was disappointed because it worked so well, never got hot, had power to cut deep into 2x4's and got the job done that a saw all would be too ruff a tool. needed more finished and finer work. now have to look at another brand. this is my second brand of this type tool. first one got me hooked on idea. Cost $35.00 and lasted about a month.
I own a lot of makita tools and generally they are very good. This is the one time that i have to write a poor review. Maybe i have been unlucky, time will tell but the multi tool lasted a total of three days using it for approximately half an hour in total before something went in the gearing. I will try another and see how it goes before condemming it!
