The Makita DUC258 is an 18v LXT cordless brushless top handle chainsaw with a 250mm bar, designed for pruning work. Powered by an 18V Makita LXT Li-Ion battery, its performance is comparable to a 23 CC-class chainsaw.

The compact, lightweight body reduces operator fatigue, which suits tradespeople and contractors who spend long periods working at height or on repetitive pruning tasks. Acceleration is excellent, and the optimal centre of gravity gives balanced handling during use.

The brushless motor is maintenance-free and long-life. A variable speed control dial lets you match the chain speed to the job. Adjustable automatic chain lubrication draws on a large 140ml oil reservoir.

This variation is supplied without batteries or charger. It includes a 250mm sprocket nose guide bar, a Makita genuine replacement chain, a guide bar case and a 4mm round file and guide set.
