This body-only variant of the DHP484 18v LXT brushless combi drill is ideal for tradespeople who already own Makita LXT batteries and chargers. With no battery, charger or case included, this option provides excellent value for those looking to expand their Makita cordless tool collection without duplicating accessories.
The drill delivers impressive performance with 2-speed operation offering 0-500 rpm on low speed and 0-2,000 rpm on high speed, combined with up to 30,000 impacts per minute for masonry drilling. Twenty-one torque settings plus drill mode ensure precise control for different fastening applications, whilst the 1.5-13mm keyless chuck accepts a wide range of drill bits and driver bits.
All the professional features you'd expect from Makita are included: brushless motor technology, all-metal gear construction, aluminium gear housing, electric brake, LED worklight and ergonomic soft grip. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
