Greenworks G24MCS10 24v Cordless Tree Pruner 100mm
The G24MCS10 is part of the Greenworks 24v cordless system and shares battery compatibility with all other Greenworks 24v tools. It is a mini handheld chainsaw which is ideal for pruning tree branches, and is lightweight at just 1.97kg.
Battery operation and tool-free chain tensioning means the G24MCS10 is extremely convenient to use. A cutting guard over the chain as well as a hand guard over the trigger help to improve user safety and the 7.8m/sec chain speed makes quick and easy work of sawing through thick branches. The G24MCS10 also has cushion over-moulded grips for comfortable handling.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Greenworks 24v Battery System
The Greenworks 24v Li-ion System is a range of 24v tools where all 24v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time. In some cases there may be tools that take 2 x 24v batteries to power a 48v motor - These are still part of the 24v battery system but with the added benefit of a more powerful motor.
