The Festool TKS 80 EBS SawStop Table Saw is a 254mm mains-powered table saw designed to deliver precise, controlled cutting whilst offering an exceptional level of operator safety for professional joiners, carpenters, and site contractors.

At the heart of this table saw is the integrated SawStop AIM technology — a responsive sensor system that detects contact with non-conductive materials and dramatically reduces the risk of serious cutting injuries. According to DGUV statistics, approximately 4,000 people are injured on circular saws every year, and Festool has engineered the TKS 80 to address that risk directly. The SawStop AIM system can also be deactivated when required, giving experienced users full flexibility.

The TKS 80 is well suited to both cross-cutting and rip cutting tasks. Cross-cutting can be performed up to 820mm wide using the sliding table, whilst rip cutting reaches up to 600mm width with the extension table at an 80mm cutting height. The tilting blade accommodates angled cuts between -2° and 47°, making it a practical choice for complex joinery and fitted furniture work.

Dust management is handled via a CLEANTEC-compatible extraction sleeve, keeping the workpiece clearly visible and the work area compliant with dust control best practice. A built-in tool garage on the side panel keeps spare blades, cartridges, and push sticks close to hand, whilst the folding leg design makes the saw practical to transport and store on busy sites.
