The Festool SZ-D 12.7 Collet (FES494465) is designed to accept router cutters with a ½" (12.7mm) shank diameter, the imperial standard widely used across a large range of professional routing cutters, particularly those from North American and international manufacturers. Supplied as a complete unit with the union nut, it fits directly to the Festool OF 1400 or OF 2200 router for immediate use.

The union nut's closed housing provides a fully dustproof clamping environment, preventing dust from compromising the precision of the collet during heavy-duty routing work. A 24mm open-ended spanner is all that is required for fitting and removal.
