Faithfull FSC Wooden Hay Rake

The Faithfull FSC Wooden Hay Rake is a traditional-style garden rake designed for gathering hay, straw, and grass across large areas with ease.

Based on the classic haywainers pattern, this rake features a wide head that covers generous ground with each pass, making it well suited to allotment work, smallholding maintenance, and general garden tidying after mowing or cutting. The long 1.7m (66in) wooden shaft provides excellent reach, reducing the need to bend and allowing efficient working across open ground.

The rake head is fitted with 16 dowelled peg teeth, constructed to gather material effectively without damaging turf or compacting lighter debris. Steel stays reinforce the connection between head and shaft, adding structural rigidity and helping the tool withstand repeated use in demanding conditions. FSC certification indicates the timber used is sourced from responsibly managed forests.
