Excellent, easy to use light in weight, anti - blocking system really works, longer battery life than others advertised would definitely recommend as my hedge is approx 15 feet high & 50 feet long

I am very pleased with the Bosch cordless hedgepole. It reaches a very good height, and it is great not to have to worry about cables. I bought it from Tooled-Up as it was the only place I could find to buy it without the battery and charger, which brought the price down, as I already have these for other Bosch Universal cordless tools I own. I am very happy with the service from Tooled-Up. The trimmer is not as powerful as a normal corded Bosch electric hedge trimmer I own but that was expected. It is not too heavy although of course a little bit more unwieldy than a normal hedge trimmer. Overall I am pleased with it and with Tooled Up.

Bought this for a high hedge at the side of our garden. The ground is uneven so using a stepladder with short trimmer was precarious at best. It is bit cumbersome, as you might expect, although the shoulder strap included is a massive help, allowing it to be balanced in use and not weigh down on the arms too much. The extendable pole and variable cutter angle are good features. I though the combination of trigger and safety catch might be difficult to operate with one hand but it was easy in practice. If you have a thick high hedge the cutter might not reach top shoots on the far side, depending on the hedge height. Best to measure before buying. Good build quality from Bosch.

18v Cordless Telescopic Pole Hedge Trimmer is good build quality and performs well when trimming. The motor and blade setting works well to steadily cut through most hedge branches with ease. The main drawback is the weight at the head end when extended, its quite a work out to handle. The head angle and pole extension adjust easily and shoulder strap is useful in spreading the weight while using it. I've used it a couple of times and it save having a ladder or chair to reach the tops of hedges.

Bought to use on tall hedges. As I already had a Bosch hedge trimmer with battery and charger went for the bare tool plus Bosch had a promotion for a free battery. (Still waiting for my battery) I’ve only had a quick go with it. Seems easy enough to use. Really good for the bits of hedge I used have to stretch for.

I bought the version without battery as I already have 18v Bosch tools. The pole is a good length for cutting tall hedges and as expected is a little unwieldy and a little top heavy. The shoulder strap helps control the pole and the blade cuts well. It feels well made and is easy to extend and shorten. The head is easy to angle when the pole is shortened at least for me as I'm quite tall. Not worrying about a trailing lead is great. Battery life seems very good but I was using a Bosch pro battery with adapter.

Only just started using this, but it is certainly a fantastic bit of kit for dealing with those hedges heading for the heavens. A tad unwieldy despite being well balanced. However time and more use will no doubts see me being a jedi topiarist !

Great price and great service. I couldn't get hold of this anywhere else. Does the job perfectly even if it is a bit heavy for me but that is my problem not the hedge trimmer. A great product and it uses our existing batteries. Perfect.

Cuts the hedge beautifully. Quite heavy, very heavy if the pole is at full extension and not vertical. It's a very good machine, but I have an issue with the strap which will strangle you if you try and change hands/ direction when using the machine.

I used the Hedge Trimmer for the first time and was very happy with its performance. It was great to be able to use the battery from my other, smaller, trimmer - a big saving. My only comment would be that for someone of my age, late 70's, it is quite heavy. I guess I'd better restart my gym membership!

I read the reviews before purchasing and some customers did say the hedge trimmer was heavy. The trimmer cuts well but it is heavy if you have a large hedge. You'd certainly have to rest in between cuts.
