Bosch Robust Line 6 Piece HSS-TiN Drill Bit Set

The Bosch Robust Line 6 Piece HSS-TiN Drill Bit Set is a metal drill bit set designed for drilling holes in steel, cast iron and copper. Each bit is ground from HSS (high-speed steel) and TiN-coated for extended usage. With the appropriate cooling system, the titanium-nitride coating gives the lowest possible level of friction and minimal wear.

This HSS-TiN drill bit set is suitable for alloyed and non-alloyed steel, malleable cast iron, sintered iron, new silver, copper, bronze and hard plastics such as perspex. The cylindrical shank (shank equal to drill bit diameter) is compatible with three-jaw drill chucks, and the bits are intended for use in drill stands and drill drivers.

Manufactured to DIN 338, the bits are Type N (flute angle) with a 135-degree tip and a diameter tolerance of h8. The pointed split-point tip provides active cutting and accurate centring without wandering. Do not use with aluminium, and only work with a cooling agent.
