Excellent sander, reliable and easy to use . great design especially as the tip can sand into corners. great shape and the dust collect box is a good idea. used recently on several projects including restoring furniture and decorated the outside of the house, up a ladder and no lead! Making the job a lot easier! all round an excellent product at an excellent price from tooled up!

The clincher for buying this unit was the integral dust collecting box. This proved a bit of a disappointment as there is very little suction evident. Consequently quite a high proportion of the dust enters the atmosphere. However, overall it performs very well and connected to a vacuum the dust problem is resolved, but this obviously reduces its ease of use.

Excellent little sander takes the drudgery out of sanding. Dust collector is a bit gimmicky but great value.

This is the best sander that i have ever owned and also at a great price. got it for sanding down old doors and had it done in quick time. the delivery time was great, delivered before 12.00 noon the day after ordering

Very handy powerful sander. Being cordless it is extremely useful when working at height. The built in dust bag is handy but blocks quickly if using on dusty substances such as plasterboard / filler. The hoover can be connected if doing a lot of indoor dusty work.

Arrived in strong polythene packaging. Usual well designed bosch carrying box. Sander is well designed and built to bosch's usual high standard. A second battery would make the item better value for money as all bosch tools are at the upper end of the price range. I purchased this item as a tooled up had offered a very good price reduction. I probably would not have bought one full price. We will see how well this sander performs and lasts. Previous models i have owned have worked ver well but have not lasted as long as i would have expected for a premium product.

Bought for and used to prepare cabin cruiser for re-paint. very, very good at removing old varnish from wooden handles, rubbing-down painted fibreglass cabin. Abrasive pre-cuts fix onto velcro very easily - don't forget to rotate the front one to get the most out of it. The foot has some padding which allows some *give* for getting into corners and on curved surfaces. Very little dust - most goes into container at rear. Lasted a surprisingly long time (had two batteries, only used one!) also very little vibration - quite comfortable to use. Made a boring chore into a pleasure - now hunting for other rubbing-down projects. Recommended.

I didn't hesitate to buy this when i got an e-mail saying it was on offer. It's made by bosch that's good enough for me. I've got six other tools made by them and a dishwasher, none of which have ever let me down, so in my opinion it was bound to be a great tool. It came along at the right time as i was doing some woodwork. Being battery powered this is brilliant for carrying around, no need for a power point and no lead getting in the way. I bought a spare battery at the same time as it was also reduced. It charges up in 30 minutes so it's always ready to use.

Not the most powerful hand sander but very easy to use. dust collector is good. battery is a little difficult to remove. second battery is useful for long jobs. it stopped working after nine months and had to be repaired under the warranty. it had had an awful lot of use over the nine months.

Looks a solid unit, however the battery keeps falling out of the sander unit. The battery is a havy unit so it could damage your foot if sanding at a height.
