Too early to tell yet. being a bosch item i knew it would be good quality. however, i must point out that the drill bit is a construction drill bit, which can be used on various materials. the package says it works on wood too. i am a wood-turner and wanted a 150mm bit to go through water buffalo horn, and also through acrylic. i make pens from different materials. but, the bit does not like acrylic. the 7mm tube, which houses a hollow brass rod, becomes a 10mm tube when using this bit. By all means use this drill bit, but for any pen-turners out there, don't use this drill bit. it is of the usual bosch quality. so although it can't be used for one purpose, it is an ideal tool for other works.

Awesome drill. needed it because some old screws holding up the garden gate rusted through - so needed something that could drill out the old screw and widen the hole in the brickwork at the same time. this did the job admirably.

Vastly higher quality than any other masonry bit i've ever used, had these for years, replaced this one only as i needed a slightly longer bit. Well worth the extra money.

This is one of the best drill bits i have ever used. the lifespan is good, cutting speed is great. will outlast those cheap bits by a long shot.
