Bosch GBH 18 V-26 18v Cordless SDS Drill
Bearing many of the design hallmarks of the best selling GBH 36 V-LI, the Bosch GBH 18 V-26 brings the same winning combination of functionality, ergonomics and performance to the 18v platform, packaged in a slightly smaller machine and enabling battery compatibility with a much wider range of additional tools.
Built around a brushless EC motor for maximum efficiency and longer runtimes, the GBH 18V-26 is a 3 mode SDS Plus rotary hammer drill which can be used for rotary hammer drilling, rotary only drilling, or hammering only (chiselling). It delivers 50% more power than its predecessor model, the GBH 18 V-EC, with an impact force comparable to a corded tool. Like the GBH 36 V-LI, it includes an Electronic Precision Control (EPC) switch, which enables the power to be reduced by 30% for applications where there is a risk of damage to the workpiece. A Vibration Control decoupled handle dampens the effect of the hammer mechanism on the operator's hand, enabling the machine to be used for longer with less fatigue, and a Kickback Control system disengages the motor in the event of a bit or accessory jamming, helping to safeguard against injury caused by sudden reactionary forces.

Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
