Bosch Expert PRO BLUE 18v Cordless EXBA 2 Battery 4ah and Charger Set

The Bosch Expert PRO BLUE 18V Cordless EXBA 2 Battery 4Ah and Charger Set pairs a high-power Expert battery with a fast dual-voltage charger, delivering everything a professional tradesperson needs to stay productive on site.

The EXBA18V-40 battery uses advanced tabless cell technology, which replaces the traditional two-tab current path found in conventional batteries with countless parallel current paths. This significantly reduces internal resistance and heat build-up, resulting in up to 2000W of instantaneous maximum power (based on internal lab testing with a fully charged, new battery) in an exceptionally compact and lightweight 605g form factor.

Durability is reinforced through a robust housing and COOLPACK 2.0 thermal management, making this battery well-suited to demanding applications in construction, electrical installation, and general contracting. A 5-LED indicator displays remaining charge and alerts to defect risk, giving you clear visibility of battery health at a glance.

The included GAL 12V/18V-80 charger handles both 12V and 18V Bosch Professional batteries, with an 8A charging current that fully charges the EXBA18V-40 in 38 minutes. Active Air Cooling 3.0 cools the battery before, during, and after charging to minimise downtime. The charger features wall-mounting capability and a bay-in-bay design for practical workshop or van storage.

Both the battery and charger are compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V System and the multi-brand AMPShare battery alliance.
