Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Chainsaws
Always make sure your oil is topped up & your chain is tensioned correctly. This will ensure your chain life is extended & more importantly is operating safely.
Remember Chainsaws are dangerous. Do not attempt to use one if you have not fully read the instructions, are confident in the correct use & have adequate safety equipment & clothing.

Have marked down build quality as the initial battery or charger were faulty and wouldn't take charge. Tooled up corrected this by supplying replacements once the defective pair had been returned. Otherwise good I used the chain saw on some logs and am very pleased with it's performance. I marked down features as I found it difficult to fit the blade and chain onto the body and had the same problem again when I took it off to clean it after use. The tensioning system seems to slip or get in the way when attaching the blade, which then gets out of alignment and then the chain falls out of it's groove. Power seemed good and saw blade is very sharp so cutting was a dream.

I bought this chainsaw because I already have some Bosch 36v 2Ah batteries. I have used it for about a dozen battery charges so far. The chainsaw works well on a fresh battery, cutting through 12" logs/ tree trunks quite easily. It is heavy on the battery though with continuous sawing, with the battery giving out on overheating rather than being drained. So if you need to buy a battery as well as the chainsaw, I would recommend going for the 4Ah battery/ies, which should stand the heavy current draw of the saw rather better. The chainsaw seems well made and well balanced, and easy to use. The chain oil tank is quite large and the oil doesn't need topping up very often. After the first five minutes use, the chain does not need re-tensioning very often. The chain is an Oregon 90PX052XG. As the saw is powerful, proper safety clothing is essential, as the saw could shorten your legs very easily...

Using the 2,0 Ah battery I've found the chainsaw only works for 5 or 6 cuts before the battery over-heating light comes on. I will buy a 4,0 Ah battery, I think this is needed. Otherwise the product feels good, I've had a mains one before so if I can get more life out of a charge it will be a lot more flexible.

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design. Please note that cordless products will normally have a shorter warranty of just 1 Year for the battery and or charger supplied.
