Black and Decker PH5551 Pole Hedge Trimmer 510mm

I purchased this Black and Decker pole hedge trimmer to replace an Einhell long-reach hedge trimmer on which the motor burnt out. The Black & Decker has a longer blade at 51cm compared to the Einhell's 41cm, The Black & Decker weighs in at 4.1kg whereas the Einhell weighs 5.1kg so top marks for the Black & Decker so far ... Where the Einhell wins over the B&D is its 900w motor against 550w for the B&D, also the Einhell has a longer reach. All these extending pole hedge trimmers are quite hefty to handle after continued use. The Einhell wins again in that the motor is at the bottom whereas the B&D is up at the business end. I like Black and Decker tools which is why I chose that make this time and the PH551 is certainly well-made and easy to operate. I've only used it briefly and it certainly cuts my hedges okay, it's just that it's not as powerful as the Einhell jobbie.

Excellent garden tool. Robust and versatile albeit a tad heavy.

Great Product. Great for cutting tall hedges. Can be a little heavy after a while but worth it!
