I was really excited to try out this product. I'd decided to buy it based on the reviews and it did not disappoint!!! I've only ever mowed our lawn (small to medium size) with the occasional weed & feed and that was ok for years, but recently our lawn has gotten on my nerves. It's been quite spongy for a long time and I was sort of ok with that, but this year the lawn started looking like a bed of straw and was covered in mostly moss and weeds with hardly any real grass, so I decided to research the whys & hows? It arrived as advised, well packaged, so a great start thank you. Performance - First use so far, well I was absolutely amazed at how much moss it brought up (I mowed it first with our lawnmower), our wheelie bin was quickly filled to the top, I had to squash it down to get the rest in!!! I'm already looking forward to seeing what it brings up on my next attempt (have to wait for our bin to be emptied first though ha-haa). Design/build - much lighter than our mower, fairly easy to assemble and use, if I had to be really picky the collector could be improved with a lid or enclosed because just some of the moss was thrown back onto the lawn (small amounts so not that significant) but it was very easy to remove, empty & replace. Just hoping that I manage to achieve a lush looking green lawn. I highly recommend this product, great value for the price :-) Thank you to Tooled-Up and Black & Decker

I must admit that I was slightly concerned by some of the reviews left on the TooledUp website. Yes, the order wasn't delivered the next day but I had received an email to confirm my order within 2 days and further clear updates. The item was delivered in around 7 days which I personally think is fair. As for the item, I found it to be easy to put together and very effective for removing moss. The height adjuster dial is pretty stiff to turn but I would definitely recommend this product, especially for the price!

I was a bit unsure about purchasing the GD500 as the price was a bargain. But having assembled the product, which was very easy. and used it twice on my garden, I could not be happier, the results were first class and would recommend the GD500 to anybody . first class and thankyou
