never had to use such a piece of gardening equipment,but due to localised flooding earlier in the year (water above ground disappeared around june) about 100' of lawn was drowned & died. we used the lawn raker/scarifier to clear the residue of grass/weed etc.It worked very efficiently & with additional work, the lawn/grass has/will return to a much better surface. great for the young grandchildren.

It was a "no brainier" really, when this electric rake was nearly half the price of any others i looked at and was a well known brand. first impressions are that it is doing a grand job, i am getting about twice as much cuttings and debris off of the lawn, as i collect while just mowing, so i am fairly confident the lawn is being left in a much better state than before.
