This variant of the Black + Decker BDCIM18 comes supplied with one 1.5Ah lithium-ion battery and a battery charger, making it a straightforward, entry-level kit for those getting started with the Black + Decker 18V platform. It delivers everything you need to get up and running straight out of the box.
With 210Nm of torque and variable speed from 0–3,000 rpm, the BDCIM18 is more than capable of handling screws, bolts and fixings of all sizes. The quick-release 1/4" hex chuck makes bit changes quick and effortless with just one hand, and at a lightweight 1.1kg with a soft grip handle, it remains comfortable even during extended periods of use.

The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
