The Wera 6004 Joker VDE M at 190mm in length is the medium-sized variant in the range, covering metric sizes 13–16mm and imperial sizes 1/2–5/8". It offers increased leverage and jaw capacity compared to the smaller models, making it a strong all-round choice for general electrical installation and maintenance work involving mid-range fastener sizes.

As with all variants in this range, it is individually tested to IEC 60900 at 10,000 V and approved for safe use at up to 1,000 V. The self-setting jaw automatically and continuously grips hexagonal fasteners in both metric and imperial sizes, while the lever mechanism clamps down firmly upon engagement to significantly reduce the risk of slipping or rounding off fastener heads.

The integrated mechanical ratchet allows for fast, consistent tightening and loosening without repositioning the tool, and the 30° return angle achieved via the corner-width prisms makes it practical even in moderately confined areas. A 2-component insulated handle with anti-slip protection ensures safe, comfortable use, complemented by the sliding function for contactless opening of the jaws.
