Wera 8002C Koloss 1/2" Drive Ratchet

The Wera 8002C Koloss is a heavy-duty 1/2" drive ratchet designed for high-torque applications, with the added distinction of being officially rated for use as a hammer — a genuine dual-purpose capability that sets it apart on the job.

Rated for loads of at least 600 Nm, the Koloss is built for demanding professional use across automotive, engineering, and heavy mechanical trades. The dual ratchet teeth mechanism and a minimum return angle of just 6° allow for rapid, precise operation even in confined or restricted access areas.

The multi-component Kraftform handle is engineered to withstand pressure, impact, and tensile loads simultaneously, and the end of the handle accepts the Koloss extension 8780 C and Koloss centring pin 8781 C. No impact applied to the hammer faces — however forceful — can damage the internal ratchet mechanism, making it a genuinely resilient tool for site use.

The push-through square drive allows quick switching between right and left-hand operation without additional tools. Supplied as a set with a holster featuring a snap hook for belt or machine attachment, and a protective pad to shield workpiece surfaces during use.
