Trend Wooden Dowels
This Trend Wooden Dowel is an 8mm diameter x 40mm length hardwood dowel pin, supplied in a pack of 50 — a practical size for a wide range of joinery and panel assembly applications.
The 8mm diameter is a popular all-round choice for cabinet making, offering a reliable balance between joint strength and material compatibility when working with chipboard and MDF. At 40mm in length, these dowels provide good engagement depth for aligning and securing panel components in carcass and door construction.
Each dowel is kiln dried for dimensional consistency and features a multi-groove profile along its length to allow adhesive to distribute evenly throughout the joint bore during glue-up.
