Trend STC Bearing Guided Spiral Downcut Aluminium Router Cutter
The Trend STC Bearing Guided Spiral Downcut Aluminium Router Cutter is a solid carbide trimming cutter designed specifically for cutting aluminium sheet to a template with precision and a clean finish.
Constructed from specially formulated carbide with two flutes, this cutter is engineered to handle aluminium sheet up to 3mm thick. The downcut spiral action directs cutting forces downward, improving clamping stability when machining smaller workpieces and delivering an improved finish to the top surface of the material.
A double bearing guide on the nose ensures accurate template following throughout the cut. As with all aluminium routing work, the material must be securely clamped, and use of a suitable lubricant is recommended to help reduce the risk of tool breakage.
