The Trend Snappy TCT Drill Countersink fitted with a 5mm HSS clearance drill is designed for metric screws up to 6mm gauge, making it the go-to choice for larger fixings in heavier timber assemblies. It features a 12.7mm (1/2") diameter TCT countersink, providing a wider, more generous countersunk recess to suit bigger screw heads.
The 5mm clearance drill ensures the screw shank passes freely through the top workpiece, while the TCT countersink creates a flush, professional finish. This variant pairs with the larger-format Trend Snappy Plug Cutters for counterbore applications where fixings must be completely hidden.
